Poor little Dan. In his rush to bash Bush and beatify Kerry he reported on forged documents and tried to make excuses. Now he's all upset that he was let go and replaced. He shouldn't waste his time with the lawsuit, but spend his time with O.J. on the golf courses of America looking for the real criminals.

It's only my theory, but I think that story was planted by Rove. The essence of the story was true and it inoculated Bush against any legitimate look into his service record. At same time, they got to discredit Rather. On the other hand, the Republicans got away with their bogus swift boat attack on a legitimate war hero. Dirty politics at it's worst. Nixon couldn't have thought up something that brilliant!

Not Bush specifically, but republicans in general. He still does think that, from what I've seen.
