I found the driver at http://www.viaarena.com/default.aspx?PageID=2&OSID=1&CatID=1160

The driver name is "ProSavageDDR Graphics Drivers"

But there's a note " may not be fully compatible with your video board or BIOS".

Is is something to do with my RAM or free diskspace availability..
What do i do now?

That's the correct driver. Now try installing it again BUT this time with ALL startups disabled.
Click Start, click Run, type msconfig, OK. Select Startup tab, disable all, apply. You may have to restart your PC. Install VGA driver. Once OK, enable your startups again in msconfig.
Hope this helps.

You shouldn't get your video driver from some third party site. Get it from http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.html
