Best question this week: It has to be a type of blue - how about:
"Norwegian Blue" - as in the Dead Parrot from the Monty Python sketch.
Strangulation has been a common theme in horror films and anything with a smurf has to be horrible to watch.
It is usually a minor character that gets killed off in this manner, so it looks like the smurfs are kaput.

Choking a blue Smurf will divert energy from the Smurf's brain and increase energy to the Smurf's photopigments causing a color shift into the ultra-violet wavelength band. The Smurf will appear invisible to the human eye.
As you choke the Smurf with two hands, it will appear that you're are praying.
Whatever you do, never choke a Smurf's chicken.

Hi. I am a male Smurf and i am 3 apples high. We stay blue when we are choked and Smurfette was all mine. We hate Gnomes.
My favourite food is Blue berries
I feel a little Blue at times
I also love Blue cheese

They change to the color frums which is opposite of smurf.

Well, when I was done with pappa smurf......he was an interesting shade of indigo........
the other smurfs didn't notice for weeks........til the smell set in.
