That felons, ex felons and prisoners are denied the right to vote?

I think its unfair, yea theyve done bad but they STILL live/reside in America...

They can reapply for their voting status. They have to complete some type of form/s (in most states). Check with your county office.

I think it's perfectly fair. These people have been convicted of crimes and are denied their freedom as a result. Voting is just one of the freedoms denied.

However, I think once someone has completed their full punishment, including parole, they should have their right to vote restored.

Why should criminals retain the same rights as law abiding citizens? I do not want felons determining who is elected for office.

I think it's fair. They do the crime and they know the price for the crime in losing some of the basic rights that the general public has and can take for granted.
