Welcome home from Iraq.
I noticed that you did not say that you were in the military so I have no idea how "illicit sandman" can say your story is BS.
Basically, Tom Cruise began his spiral downward when he cheated on Nicole Kidman and eventually filed for divorce. Some people say that he could not handle the fact that she was becoming as successful, if not more successful, then he was.
From there, he quickly ended up with Penelope Cruz and then the moved on to Katie Holmes.
Add in the fact that he is deeply rooted in the Church of Scientology (which some people view as a cult) and he went crazy on Oprah and it is a recipe for public ridicule.

Ever since Tom got married to Katie Holmes and jumped on the couch on Oprah and acted wildly with everyone, he's become a menace. Mission Impossible series were a success but now, you dont see him around much and eeven if you do, he'll be acting like some wild chimp on the loose.

First, thank you for being there for us. Glad you are back.
He had publicly criticized Brooke Shields for taking meds for post-partum depression after the birth of her first child. He said (according to his belief in Scientology) Brooke Shields should have treated her depression with diet and excercise. Tom Cruise was widely criticized for this.
Many also thought he was much too old for Katie Holmes. He was jumping up and down declaring his love for her on Oprah's couch.
Now, he's just staying out of the news a bit except for tabloids.

Tom Cruise is the guy that got beat up in school (seriously), and so now he makes movies where he is always helping the little guy out. He was dyslexic, told by everyone he was stupid, and so now through his career success he has been driven completely insane by his vengeance seeking ego.
While I actually like the guy and enjoy most of his movies, the Scientology thing scares me. I feel sorry for him, though. He does mean well.
But the guy is nuts.

He divorced Nicole Kidman, which I think came as a surprise to her. Then he took up with a girl 16 or years younger and made a fool of himself on "Oprah" by jumping on the couch. He dissed Brooke Shield's using antidepressants to help her overcome post-partum depression. He's a scientologist.
I honestly do not think the guy is a bad actor - I liked him in "4th of July," "Rainman," and "Interview with the Vampire." I am not a fan of action movies but his "Mission Impossible" movies have done well. So all I can guess is that he's more liked than people think.

Lol, the fact it's Tom Cruise you're worried about means things haven't changed that much.
No, he went kind of crazy in love with someone no one predicted he would in a time no one think anyone could, and is really into a religion that no one seems to understand.
He's prone to heavy PDA, has a daughter, and is dangerous around furniture. Other than that, and the fact that he doesn't seem sane anymore, nothing's happen.

I personally never was a Cruise fan, but after his split from icole Kidman... he kinda freaked out. It's crazy. He married Katie, had a kid with her, and lost his acting edge. I can't imagine watching a movie with him in it. Oh yeah... He is right below Ron Hubbard at the Church Of Scientology. i think he wants to be God...
