it is an old pc that i'm fixing, it had problems with it's built-in videocard, so now i'm having a problem determing what compatible videocard to look for.. i hope someone here can help

Motherboard: IBM 6862S5A
Chipset: i440BX/ZX
Memory: PC133

so is there any specific videocard that will be compatible for this kind of motherboard? or any videocard will be fine?

,and only windows98 and below can run in this motherboard right?

I really don't know much about old computers, so I'm having problems with this one, thank you for your answers

This is at least 8 YEARS OLD!!! It can only run either Win 95 or 98 This is probably a PIII/300-550MHz/64-512MB. Probably worth less than $50.

It uses a PCI video adapter. Don't waste your money on an expensive one. Check if the Win 95 or 98 drivers are available before you buy.

If it has got a PCI slot, most 4, 8 or 16mb PCI graphics card should work. I use a 2mb and 16mb PCI graphics card for throubleshooting graphics problems and motherboards from a Slot1 up to current model of motherboards. PCI cards also come in handy in my overclocking adventures (and misadventures).
