I've asked this before and I got some interesting answers. Now I would like more people to answer if they want to. I guess you could say that what other people were thinking put a smile on my face because they confided into a complete stranger (me) and I don't know how this benefits anyone but it's interesting. Here is my actual prompt for anyone who'll take it: Just type on the computer about anything. Yes, anything you can think of even if it means nothing to this world. I once wrote about how I liked the way Bogart (Rick) in Casablanca picked up a wine glass without hardly acknowledging it to how I think that we should have machines that listen to our thoughts and we cold just have the machine type out every thought that we want whenever we want so that we could remember our brilliant thought later. (Makes no sense right?) I would like to know other peoples weird and completely non-sensical thoughts. You don't have to be articulate or try to impress anyone. Just be you, type away!

Random thoughts... thousands of them flow through our brain every second. No human being ever has an independent mind. Every human being only has a brain that acts as a receiving and transmitting station. All thoughts flow from the reservoir of mind plus or mind minus... the central command station of the Cosmos.

The random flow of thoughts to our brain is directly proportional to our karma. As is the karma performed... so is the invocation of thoughts! Nothing flows through our brain on its own. Every single thought is invoked by human beings based on their karma. One with a sunny disposition and godly thinking always invokes positive thoughts from the reservoir of mind plus.

Those dominated by ego, wanton desires and materialistic riches invoked negative thoughts from the reservoir of mind minus. If we desire invoking positive thoughts all the time from the reservoir of mind plus... we need indulgence in good karma all the time. Indulging in vices and unethical practices... we cannot hope invoking positive thoughts!

Mangoes simply cannot grow on a guava tree... it simply cannot be! The entire Cosmos is governed by the doctrine of karma... as we sow shall we reap... nothing more or less! In the domain of God there are no free lunches. Everything results from the karma enacted by us. As is our karma... so shall be our destiny... our future!

Every one of those who do not have a goal in life let random thoughts flow through their brain! If we do not sow the seeds of our choice... wild weeds are bound to grow! Absence of goal in life is like a rudderless boat going round and round in the ocean. Devoid of clarity of thought... most human beings just while away their life!

When young I wanted to see and meet God in this very life. None to guide... I proceeded on the spiritual path... a completely uncharted journey head-on! To reach God I had to establish absolute control over the five senses and the mind. The moment I gained absolute control over the five senses and the mind... flow of incessant thoughts to my brain stopped altogether!

I reached the stage of nothingness... the stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi! Reaching the stage of Nirvikalpa Samadhi announces that one can have a dialogue with God Almighty on one-to-one basis every moment of life. Having cut across the ocean of Samsara (worldly life) I finally realized God in 1993.

Every human being who desires gaining control of life... manifesting their own destiny must cut across the bonds of karma early in life. This happens when we establish absolute control over the senses and the mind. Having a goal in life is of utmost importance. This develops our power of concentration... the organized flow of thoughts! More on Thoughts and Mind Power - http://www.godrealized.org/mind_a_universal_phenomenon.html

My live is SOOO complicated - it is definitely only me in the entire world who at this exact moment feels completely lost, stupid and socially handicapped (is that even a word in English?). My job is boring and I don't even care anymore but the day after tomorrow (not the bad movie) I'll get visitors from abroad who I haven't seen in 8 months so maybe it isn't all bad. Why do I repeat my patterns - I always seem to end up in the same crazy situations. What is the world trying to tell me and will I ever learn?
I'm reading this very strange book called "The Five People You Will Meet in Heaven" I wonder who I'll meet. Will I even go to heaven? Is there a book called "The Five People You Meet in Hell"? My thoughts are like a giant tsunami sweeping away all coherence that I might have - I cannot sleep because I keep thinking. Maybe I should go to the pharmacist and get some sleeping pills....

I've been obsessing lately about why I feel so stuck in my life. A year ago I had great ideas to become a coach, a healer and a writer. Now I am stuck in corporate America, battling writer's block. I should/could/would write in my blog, write a chapter for a book, do some marketing, but instead I spend way too much time surfing the net and answering questions on Yahoo.

Now I'm thinking I should go to bed, but there is always another interesting question to answer! :)

I believe in literature this is called "Stream of Consciousness." I don't really like reading it much, but it is fun to write. Have you ever read anything by Virginia Woolf? She does a lot of stream of consciousness, you may find you like her. (I don't know if you are a big reader or anything.) Oh, and there's the story "The Yellow Wallpaper," you might like that. I don't remember who it's by, though. Isn't it funny how you can probably tell exactly the type of person I might be by how I answer this question? I am actually an English Major who will be going into publishing. I wonder, do you like books that are written as diaries-if you like reading at all. Oh well, time to answer another question...

Why is it that the skies have depth to them that humans can never capture? Same with the utter whitness of the moon, or the twinkling light from the stars. No painting, no photograph will ever fully evoke the beauty of the night sky.

You caught me just after I drove home on a clear, lonely night.

Will we ever see the other side of the moon facing Earth?

My random thought is always about the ways of God. When we see a movie or a T.V. serial or we read about the turning point in the life of great achievers we always learn that they got this with divine grace and they got their guidance in their dream or when we r praying in a temple or at home some gesture by way of a flower falling from the picture of deity means u ve been blessed or when Sai Baba appears in dream he guides the person. In my life many such instances r recorded in my spiritual diary but nothing tangible happens in my life and it baffles me. I have faith that God communicates with us thru random sources, only we have to be alert to receive his guidance, I am alert but events in my life do not change for better. Life moves at a snails pace. As a day passes in waiting for manifestation of his grace in my worldly life too ( so that I am a living example of God's grace for others to follow the path of spirituality) I get disappointed and confused that what is shown in bhakti serial has no relevance in real life then where to get the guidance so that this precious life does not go waste. These communications not manifesting in reality have led me to frustrations. Otherwise I was always a believer in fate and stable person. Now these signals have made me unstable and confused. Since u r in spirituality I look up to u in this predicament. If u ask me to follow Krishana Consciousness it will not be possible for me at present state of mind. I feel God is one supreme power and he meets everyone in different name or place though he resides in our heart only. Hope to hear from u soon.

Right now I am thinking of tomorrow. I want tomorrow to end quickly and even the day after that. It goes on and on like that. I am waiting for something to happen and I don't know what it is. I don't know if it is good or bad, I am feeling it may be good though. I wish I wasn't in the situation I am in right now, I want to leave this place I am in.

my thoughts revolve and rotate in a crazy spinning dream of inconsequential things. I think about rib eye steaks and Karl Marx. Jehovah and Britney Spears' triumphal return to the stage. who really killed JFK, does W. have a brain. I think sometimes about my friends, who died with me in war, leaving a walking body,me, to wander the earth in search of a reason for something. so far, no luck

I have trouble with my thoughts getting out of control. There is no telling where uncontrolled thoughts will lead us.

Jayasri is suggesting the Vedic method of controlling our thoughts. That is Hare Krsna mantra meditation.

I let my thoughts get out of control too much already. Have you considered asking what methods would you recommend to get control of your thoughts?
