Nope. I am one, and I am not scared at all by myself.
I'll admit though, at first, some hardcore goths can be VERY intimidating.

Hahahhaahhaahhahaaaa!!! Omg, if you do, you really shouldn't. Goths are some of the kindest, most intelligent and gentle people out there - they just express themselves differently.
I used to walk on the darker side of life myself, I was very shy and quiet, but my friends always picked me up and took me out, well, shopping. =)
Now people think I'm some hip hoppin girl, but I'll always be a little darker on the inside. Cannot get rid of my love for the metal, never will, and I have a permanent pentagram on the back of my neck.
Emo kids on the other hand, I want to slap them in the face.

Well considering the fact that most steriotypical assholes may consider me "goth"
No, I do not find goth people to be scary.
They're good & bad people in this world. It doesn't matter what kind of "genre" of person they fall under.

Only if they have tons of pins in their faces or some of them just look scary by their facial expressions. I have nothing against goths.

Most of the ones today aren't real goths, they just like dressing the part. The real ones, still no.

depends on the person i guess. i have a goth friend and she freaks me out..

No that's stupid. I married a guy whom I'll have his child in about 8 months, he was a goth in high school when we met... And I didn't fear him... Everyone else did. I don't fear the way people look, that's just being... in a form racist

Not really... it's really just a trend-style these days, not a lifestyle with all of the devil-worshiping that people assume it goes along with. Heck, I like black quite well myself... very thinning.
