.. and you were absolutely 100% convinced that it was Monday (maybe because you KNOW you went to church the day before for example).. BUT everyone else insisted it was Saturday (i.e. news casters, newspapers, friends and family etc)...

what would you believe? Would you trust your own mind or would you go with the majority?

It would be really scary. No i don't think i would believe i was so wrong. I would need to check out, buy the daily paper, check out teletext, calendar etc and hopefully be proved right. Was i not then i'd make an immediate visit to my doctor hoping and praying it's only due to my stress levels and nothing worse.

I would certainly listen to the people around me, but I would also check something else, like the calendar or the newspaper to look at the date. If both people and dated things said that the date was Saturday, I would go with it. There have been days (for instance, when I have had an extra day off from work) where I am off by a day. I'll go to work and think it's Monday instead of Tuesday, for instance. But I have never had the experience of being too far off the mark. I think it would be very frightening and confusing.

Well, since I don't do church, I'd think I just slept through an entire week. I'd also look on my back porch and see if there were a week's worth of newspapers out there.

I'd also check the calendar and see if it's April 1st.

I'd go with the majority. I used to work night shift and it was not an uncommon experience to think you had lost a day. Particularly if you sleep thru it entirely.

Having seen reality shift, I would probably assume that I had hit a wormhole or time ripple and go along with the majority. Would I believe them...probably not.

I would go with the majoruty for the date but if it were something more serious I might go with my answer..... But the day of the week isn't that important for the most part..... I would just think I must have dreamt the day before I have done that you know!

I would go with the majority b/c I lose track of days easily.

This would be a bugger wouldn't it? I think I would probably have to go with the majority and blame it on pre-senility!!

Reality is defined by common consensus, and so it would actually be Saturday
