Just think about it!
In Scotland the opportunity cost of 2 sweaters is 40 scones (known as biscuits in some parts - not to be confused with cookies).
In England the opportunity cost of 1 sweater is 50 scones.
Scotland produces 2 sweaters and swaps one for scones. England is willing to give 50 scones for the sweater, but only charges 40 (its opportunity cost).
Scotland gets 50 scones and a sweater.
England gets 1 sweater and 10 scones.
Both countries are better off.
