I've had my period for 2 yrs and it has always been irregular until the beginning of this yr. This yr, it came regularly every 23-25 days, but then after 4 cycles...it changed to 20-21 days. After 2 cycles of that, it didn't come until 29 days. Is this normal? Is my period going to be regular? Thanks for your help

Jax, I learned in health class that it doesn't have to come every 28 days.....I learned that as long as the cycle is about the same days each time, tis normal, if you get your period every 40 days, its still normal, as long as its consistent

interesting fact my science teacher told me : apparently, some of the birth control pill stuff is in our urine, so when it's flushed it goes into bodies of water where fish are. The male fish that are being hatched become confused because of the urine and turn out to be half male and half female...weird eh?

I don't think this is normal. Your period should be around every 28 days. You should see a OB-GYN. They probably will recommend birth control to make it regular. But atleast they should be able to tell you what is going on. Good luck!

Your still way young and it is normal to not have a regular period. The fact that it got regular for a few cycles just shows your body is working towards a regular cycle. It takes time lots of time for some women. Also even when your older and you have been regular for years, certain outside factors can make to irregular like weight loss/gain, stress, trauma. As long as your periods are lasting no more than 7 or 9 days and not happening every week or two you should be fine.
But if your still worried call a doctor and see if you should go in and get checked up.

I am sure it is pretty normal, every woman has her own cycles. I am 30 years old and my periods have never become regular since I had it for the first time. However check with your gynecologist if you can take hormones (the pill) to normalize cycles, i think that is the only way.
No worries though. I´d say you better worry if period doesn´t come. :)

For as young as you are, I would say that your periods are regular at this point, I believe you will be able to determine your cycles as time goes on. It sounds as if you are on top of it and very aware of the changes in your body. That is great. Bear in mind that if your periods DO happen to really get whacked out of rhythm, birth control pills CAN be used to regulate the cycle. Good luck!!

Most women have their periods every 28 to 30 days. But, some women are a bit irregular and can be all over the calender. If you are really concerned, check with your doctor.

I have always had really irregular periods too, you need to go see your doctor as ther may be an inbalance with your hormones... You may need to go on the pill to make them regular, that'sright the pill isn't just used for birth control!

Mine always changes around a bit. This sounds totally normal. This sort of thing can depend on how stressed you are at the time, what you're eating, how you're exercising, etc. Don't worry about it! You should be fine :D

Mine is weird all the time. 25 days, then 35, then three weeks late two months in a row. Sometimes I skip for no reason. If weird is normal, then weird is normal.
