When it seems like the world was conspiring against you, and things weren't going right, did you ever beleive your dreams are just that, dreams? Just nothing more than a wish that won't come true?

A dream is a wish for something other than what exists. For many of us, we are born into lives that we would rather not have. Each of us has a vision or dream of what an ideal life would be. Some are able to accomplish that dream. Others cannot.

A desire for happiness is about the nature of sadness that one feels.

I have often times allowed myself to believe that I was being selfish for wanting something so great for myself. I've told myself "It's a waste of time" to pursue the things I really want to. But now I'm beginning to question myself on that. I look at all of the people alive to day, people who just accepted whatever life handed to them, and they look so miserable. I don't want to be 80 and haven't accomplished any of the things that I've wanted to. In the end, that's what life is all about: fulfilling your purpose. Each person's reason for being here is different. You've got to find what makes you feel whole and not care what anyone thinks. But I think most people doubt themselves. If they didn't the world would be full of happier individuals.

Dreams are exactly what you said. Things that you hope to happen but most likely will never happen. I hoped to have a startling wife who was a supermodel with a super personality (I hope my wife doesn't read this). Instead, I get an angry ***** who won't leave me alone. Even when the world is with you and cheering you on, your dreams are just a resemblance of the life you are going to lead. God (or whatever supernatural being you worship or no god) is using your hopes and aspirations to help you learn what exactly is the meaning of life and how your dreams reflect that.

I dreamed things that are unusual and I have no doubts of dreaming it, dreaming is not bad at all but reality is much better.
To be frank, i never really dream of something, i counted myself as much blessed, all beautiful things has happened in my life so am grateful for it.

Oh yes, and now I have different dreams and the old ones have been discarded because I have no use for the things I wanted in the past anymore.

Certainly, sure. Most have this happen. But if they are yours to make real you will do so. It does not happen over night.
