$ .45 is 45 cents

$5.00 - .45 = $4.55 divided by 4 cents (.04 ) = 113.75
It would take 113 days and 18 hours to get another $4.55

but to get $5.00 from 0 cents would take 125 days .
That is 5 divided by .04 .

Your friend needs to do his own homework .
Some people post bogus answers just to teach the homework cheats a lesson .

45 cents. It would take 125 days to get five dollars at 4 cents a day.
