Priapism is a long lasting and painful erection. This usually happens when the sufferer is using meds like Viagra, Levitra or Cialis and is not a good thing. I would ask my doctor or if it is late at night, go to the nearest ER as this is serious!

Avoid vegemite at all costs is my automatic "funny" response. Also steer clear of your dad's viagra.
However, this condition can be quite serious causing severe pain and ultimately a loss of function, as well as potential tissue damage. If the problem persists without stimulation for longer than an hour .. you ought to get yourself down to the E.R. for treatment.

I can bang my girl for an hour easily or two if she will let me with a full on ***** the whole time and it never hurts. I'm 48 and have never tried viagra and my girl begs me to never try it.

See a doctor. 4 hrs is the max without damaging the erection mechanisms. You might try using it. If you are taking Viagra.....it can do that. Pops

yes, this can be dangerous, this is a condition called priaprism, if the penis stays erect for too long it can cause necrosis and they might have to amputate it, it occurs in people with sickle cell disease, and people who abuse of viagra. i hope this helped, and go to your doctor to get it checked out. good luck.
