When you were younger (or if you are), what's the longest time you lasted without having your period. I started about a year ago, and now I'm ending I think my second or third month without it. I've skipped months before, but I don't think it was for this long. And no, I'm not pregnant! Ugh!

I went for4-5 months sometimes and it was agrivating. I also had really really bad hormonal issues that had really bad PMS and fevers and nausea. My mom finally agreed to let me go ton the pil and that fixed everything. It was used as a hormonal therapy, not as a birth control med. I was not sexually active and did not become so just becuase of the pill. talk to your doctor about it and see if this is an option if you feel that it would be better than surprises!

You should be seeing an OB/GYN. Normal is getting a period about every 28-30 days. My sister got one a year until she saw a doctor and now has to take medication to bring on a period at regular intervals.

well I think that you should contact your doctor. The longest time that I lasted without my period was 2 weeks.

you definitely need to see a doctor, because i was like that when i started mine like 8 years ago. and its really unhealthy I went once without a period for five months almost and i asked my mom about it and she took me straight to the doctor that very same day and they ended up putting me on birth control to regulate my periods

I've missed a period once before. it might have been because i had an ovarian cyst. you might want to go and see your doctor. if you're on birth control pills, you miss months.

there is a doctor
called a gynecologist
who will help figure out if this is serious or not
go and see the gynecologist
it is a much better idea than asking unqualified random strangers on yahoo! answers

Go see a gynno and see that everything is normal. But if you're trying not to gain wait, it could mean you're not nourishing your body properly, like those people who practice bulemia and annorexia. (sorry if I didn't spell them right. I'm really tired..)
