I take Estroven and I "think" it might be working.....but, I can't help but think that someone out there might have a better idea. Any I'm not interested in taking ANY prescriptions from doctors. Thank you very much! Appreciate your great help and suggestions!!

Want to mention......I hear that Soy isn't as good for women as it was known to be in the past. I read that black cohash (sp?) and some cancer issue. And, I forgot to mention that I am also taking flaxseed oil caplets. I was told to chew them as the oil is great for gums and keeps them from bleeding. Great answers so far, but...I'm still looking for more answers and comments. I'm going to read back over all the answers thoroughly before the deadline. Thank you bunches and bunches!!!!!

Well, I will swear by "NEW PHASE" OTC!!!!!!!

It comes in a pink box. I take one every other night and my sweats have gone down 90% It has a lot of soy in it like the other post says.

I ran out of it for 2 months and I was sweating like a pig!!!!!

I just bought some about 1 week ago....under control.

I bought Estroven pm for night sweats by mistake one time and it did not work at all.

New Phase works 24/7 the reason I take it every other night is because it was making me a little nauseous. It might not do this to you.

I hit menopause early as a result of chemotherapy after cancer.

Because the cancer I had reacts to hormones, I cannot use any form of HRT and actually take medications to remove the remaining hormones from my body, which agrevates the menopausal symptoms.

My oncologist recommended evening primrose oil..

So far, it seems to be working, I have stopped all the menopausal symptoms within days of starting taking it!

I am 31, I had a total hysterectomy 5 years ago and I have gone off HRT. Soy helps me. I drink soy milk (that is about all I can tolerate) It seems to help a little.
