Ok well I don't have expirience and havn't had any special classes or anything like that. But I have REAL potential and that drama like personality. Most people I know tell me that I should take up acting or modeling...but can someone give me some advise on how? Any websites and such. I know it seems like I'm just another wannabe but I never had the guts to get involved. That is to say, both my parents are masters and Phd in mathematics. And I'm a strait A , all honors student, who happens to be super althletic, tall, fair haired, hot, confident, independent, and Eastern European ( born there). I told my mom about my ambitions a couple weeks ago and she agreed to support and homeschool me (if nessessary) if I found something worthwhile. So please help!!!!

If it's what you want - just do it.

Ring some local agencies in your area to see if you can go in & see what they think but just don't take it as a personal slight if they say you're not what you're looking for as it can be a pretty fickle industry.

Same for acting - sign up for some drama classes to get a taste & decide if it's something you like doing & if so pursue it through local theatre groups with the possible of studying professionally later.

Hi,

you sound like a girl who has a lot going for her. And you sound driven and motivated.

This question comes up very often. For this reason, I have written an ebook, that I give away for free called How To Start An Acting Career. It's 36 pages and is a quick read. Just go to my site for new and aspiring actors and you will see the prompt on the right column. Just sign in and you'll have access to it. It will take you through some of the basic steps and considerations to get started.

I hope that helps!

Start small.

First off, at your present age it may be unrealistic to think of going into that field much at all because of legal working age issues. Be patient and wait.

Many colleges offer art classes and need living models. However many of these classes use nude models so you would have to decide if that was something you were up for.

There are modeling, look alike, and talent agencies that have casting calls, Taply is one of them.

If you live near an establishment like Medieval Times you could apply for a position like the princess there.

Do well.

You need to get involved in some theater or drama classes in your school or somewhere near you. Get some experience and see if you really enjoy acting and modeling. Keep in mind that most of the organizations who promise you a career in acting are going to take thousands of dollars from you and you won't get anywhere. Just keep the hope alive because if you're talented someone is bound to notice.
