I was watching the bodyguard and was just thinking that Whitney Houston is one of the most talented female vocal artists ever.

Whitney Houston, hands down. Whitney in her hey day had a precious gift from God which was her angelic voice. She didn't have to strain her voice, those sounds just came out naturally. Her voice may be ruined due to substance abuse, but she has something that can never be taken away and that is timeless classics that we can enjoy when we have our grandkids.
Beyonce voice is just okay and can sometimes be down right annoying. It just seems like she screams and yells when she is singing. Plus her songs have no substance, they just have good hooks that will fade away in due time. Nothing classic about her music.
I don't care how popular Beyonce is at the moment, her music will never compare to Whitney's classics.

I like whitney. But I dont like all of her songs. Beyonce is a fox and therfore she gets a vote too.
