John Denver included a version of "Let It Be" on his 1971 album Poems, Prayers, and Promises.

Paul McCartney and John Lennon of the Beatles wrote "Let it Be." The "Mother Mary" to whom Paul refers in the song is actually Paul's mother, not Mary, the Mother of Jesus. Denver totally swiped that song from the Beatles!

I would bet that John Denver`s version includes the Lennon/mCcartney credits if not then that is swiping! But I am sure it is.
