Sure. You can sued for anything. It's up to a jury to decide if he wins or not though but by that time you'll be broke from paying lawyers bills. Best bet. If he can out spend you, don't do it.

Well defamation involves the publication of a statement which is false, with knowledge of its falsity, or in reckless disregard of the truth. Causation and damages.

Meet all of that and I would suspect libel is the cause of action. What do you think?
