I personally don't think it's a good idea. Obviously there are reason why you don't want to be with him. I mean you did divorce him. Those problems are still going to be there, unless either he or you has changed. Before you do anything I would suggest being friends with him, because if those problems are still there they will make themselves apparent through even just friendship.
