Because Vince is realizing that the Women’s division has become a joke. Its only about a hot piece of *** to look at. So he is forcing that kind of stuff down out throats. Claiming their the next Lita or their the next Trish. There will never be a Diva that can match the level Lita or Trish were at. They wont push the HEEL Divas (which blows) because their the ‘bad’ girls. They believe if they use a FACE Diva it will make it easier to corrupt out minds and have us believe these girls can wrestle. I miss the old days when Women’s wrestling was just that. I miss the days when a Diva could put on a good match against a male superstar. This Diva Search **** is ridiculous. Just a waste of wrestling time. Sorry this rant has been so long, its been built up for awhile. I just really don’t like where the Division is at now. And the fact that the only time a HEEL Diva is pushed, its to make a FACE look better in the end. For example: Beth Phoenix. This girl could actually be great and be compared to a Diva who has come and gone and left a their mark on us all!

the face divas are the ones Vince wants to push as the stars of WWE.Divas like Candice or Ashley -the photogenic ones.They're just in squash matches where the other star just puts them over.
The best wrestlers are the heels like Beth Phoenix - who deserves it more than most - Victoria & Jillian.Stars who were wrestlers already before becoming Divas.
Beth i think will get her title win soon as we're getting tired of Candice's schtick.Plus Nattie from the Hart Foundation & the Garcia Twins will be making their debut soon.Hopefully it will be a new start & it will make the womens division a bit more interesting.

Because Vince is allegedly an idiot. I think that he is merely a business man, not a creative genius. I also think that he likes to re-create what has already been done before because he thinks that the fans of the WWE are idiots who would take in anything you give them as long as you add a powerbomb or two. And since the Lita and Trish thing has given him huge success in the past, it is no surprise, much to the dismay of most people, that he decided to use that same angle again.

i agree i really really don't think ashley will be the next lita, and candice is no trish....trish and lita are great legends....no 1 can replace them
