I was thinking about asking one of my friends at work about switching gifts until the day before christmas so our children wont get nosey about there gifts.

Do you think this is a good ideal as long as you trust your friend?

You can use your neighbor's place to hide gifts, or keep them in your office (so long as your kid's don't look there).

But I would not switch gifts, because what is your coworker supposed to do if his/her kid finds your gift and thinks it is for him/her?

It sounds confusing to me and like an accident waiting to happen. Maybe you can lock up the gifts in a closet or in your desk at work til Christmas eve. You can still put some gifts that you received from others under the tree.

yup that sounds like a good idea to me....especially if they do snoop they will certainly have a surprise on christmas day. It might even teach them not to snoop.
