Saturate the affected toenail with vinegar, twice a day, for two weeks. The fungus should clear up by then. Just be patient.

If your fungus isn't that bad, you can use tea tree oil. You need to drop it between the toe and skin and then on the sides of your toenail to penetrate the total nail. But, you HAVE to use it a few times a day and be really good about remembering to do it. There are also a few anti fungus oil treatments on the health food stores (located on the same isle as shampoos) If it is kind of bad, go get some Dr G's clear nail at your pedicure spa (or call first). Worst case scenario is you lose the nail, a nail tech puts on a fake one until the new nail grows under it.

Tea tree lotion can clear up toe nail fungus temporarily. But toe nail fungus usually comes from a yeast overgrowth from the intestines, so no topical treatment will clear it up permanently. You'll be battling it for a long long time.

To stop it at the source while you fight it locally, a combination of olive leaf extract, PB-8 (an excellent probiotic found in health food stores) and glutamine could have clear up the problem for good.

I'd take the olive leaf for 3 months, the PB-8 for life, and the glutamine for 2 months (5 grams 2x a day.)

The best to you.

Use Vicks on your toes before bed and carefully put socks on afterward. It is a slow process, could be a couple months and you have to be consistent. This is very simple, yet effective. It has worked on 5 out of 5 people for me so far.
