I choose to be a man of peace. I live my life simply and causing the least suffering to all creatures that I can.
This does not mean that there is no man of strife side to me. I still can be upset by somebody cutting me up on the road. I still choose to be angry about cruelty in the world around me. I can give somebody my opposing views if I need to.
What I mean is that, even though strife exists within me and around me, I still choose to live my life based upon the idea of peace and calm.

Oddly enough, this question is harder than it ought to be for me to answer.

Usually, I would say peace. I prefer that things be smooth and relaxed and...peaceful. I don't like a high-stress enviornment, or when people are fighting. I like peace, and when we're all just getting along. (Now I sound like a hippie, haha)

However, it seems that I'm always causing strife. Maybe it's something to do with my personality, but things seem to go wrong around me, and tensions are almost always high. I get in the middle of relationships, which causes strife. I am too opinionated, which causes tempers to flare. You get the point. I'm a regular bull in a china shop. I disrupt situations.

So...though I would prefer to be a woman of peace, I think that my own personality and psyche makes me be a person of strife.

Too bad, eh?

To keep my peace as much as possible is my priority all days, but to truly have an absolute one is likely impossible. I don't have control of others who practice strife as a way of survival. I can just at least play deaf to the loud sound of disputes around me, and hope that everything gets settled by the end of each day. I don't believe that strife can be resolved through hostile means. Should I be asked to put both conflicting hands to a unified handshake, I'd be honored to.

Honestly, i consider my self as a man of peace, modesty aside. I know the world is full of strife, competition, conflict and a suicidal alternation of victory and defeat. Is this the world should be? Personally i hate strife for it doesn't build peace. It is a negative feeling that consumes a lot of energies instead of drawing energies to become positive in life. Peace is what we need and have to shout to the whole world. In peace, we will have a complete enjoyment of life.

I am a friendly person in real life. Again, modesty aside i want people to be living in a harmonious environment. That's is what God wants us to be anyway.

Thanks to your interesting question. Have a great day!

It appears that we all are struggling towards one end or another. There is really no peace in sight on this plain of existence. We can find moments of peace after laborious events, but then we pick right back up and start anew with a bit of strife and or struggle to get through the next day, next moment of whatever.

I consider myself to be a man of strife while giving the appearance of being one of peace. I'm constantly looking to create unrest in situations in order to suit my own selfish needs and desires while being quite discreet about it. There are simply more benefits to be reaped from chaotic situations than from relative peace and harmony.

I, like everything else, am a person of both sides because I personally believe that being 100% of something is impossible. But if I am to choose which of which I am more of, I am a person of strife because like most human beings I thirst for everything that this world can offer and that hunger forces me to cause ripples in the universal order of things.

everyone is a bit of both....we think it in this way....to get peace i have to be a man of strife...so from inside a man/woman seeks peace and that drive makes him/her a man/woman of strife....so its a bit of both....those who are not are just to indifferent to situations.
