I really like the Global Compact. Having the limits present for people to follow has had to have helped the standard of living and the economies around the world.

Have you ever noticed the most economically successful countries are also the most free countries? That is because its better for citizens to decide how to spend their money, rather than have bureaucrats buy you a widget because they think you need one.

I am not in favor of any UN policies which effect the US, because it is in the best interest of most UN countries to weaken the USA. Politically or economically, a weaker opponent is better for you. So why would we want to weaken ourselves by agreeing to UN policies?
