Well... I'm sure you would try everything you could to make sure he was in the right path. But here is a true thing I've learned in life: you can't change people! I'm sure Priscila took very good care of him, then he got another girlfriend, then another one. What does that mean? That HE was the one who couldn't be pleased. They were beautiful intelligent women. I think Elvis was a bird that could never be contained in a cage. He was born to be wild, and unfortunately his "wildness" led to his premature death.

Sometimes no matter how you try and help someone, they will not listen. I am sure there were women in his life who tried to get him to stop his lifestyle, but they could not get him to change. Sometimes its impossible and you have to leave to keep your sanity. Until you have lived with a person with addictions, you really do not know how hard it is to get them to give up the bad things.

OH please , he would have done drugs with or without the so called perfect wife , dont do what if's or but's on this 1 .

Priscilla loved him with all her heart and devoted her whole childhood to him she threw away her teen years for him , dont judge lest ye be judged.

His selfishness and greed for different women was his only downfall.

And as to the drugs my brother's use it so dont try to fool yourself I know what drives them.

Are you still so young that you are under the assumption you can change a man? Men or women don't change once you marry them - You get what you signed on for.

Well, yes, but the problem is that nobody pushed him to take them, it was a bad but his choice.

That was a problem that any wife could solve, sadly another life wasted.

no., because the was too rapped up in himself and probably doing his fans. I too hate drugs and feel no sympathy for someone who is willing to lose everything just to feel high for awhile

i would have kicked him out on the streets because nobody likes druggies. if he were like anyone else he wouldn't have gotten fired for doing drugs and ended up homeless.

you cant change a person, so if that is the life they choose to take then you can offer them help and be there for them, but its up to them if they change their lifestyle.
