If Mark Cuban is the owner then the Cubs will be fine. A-Rod apparently is good friends with Lou Piniella and Mark Cuban would have no problem putting up the jack for A-Rod.

Marlon Byrd or Mike Cameron are opportunities in CF. i might additionally choose to work out the Cubs sign Placido Polanco. The Tigers are unlikely to hold him back as they are reducing payroll. Poly is a robust No 2 hitter and a sturdy glove at 2b. If the Cubs ought to no longer sign a real leadoff hitter i think of they might plug Theriot in that place with Polanco 2d. i think of Reed Johnson could the Cubs resign him ought to guard Cf in the meanwhile and perchance the CUbs could make a commerce for a Cf it sluggish throughout the time of the season until eventually now the commerce final date.. I additionally think of they choose a million greater commencing pitcher.

A-rod wouldn't make a good Cubbie. I don't want him wearing my teams uniform. He claims he wants to play for lou, but he won't do it for cheaper? Look at what Zambrano did because he wanted to play for the cubs so bad. He could have gotten 150 mil in the offseason for a contract, instead he took a huge cut to stay in chi. A-rod is about the money, we don't want him.

That all sounds pretty damn ridiculous. It seems like the orgasmic fantasy of some Cubs fan. I do agree that A-Rod would hit a butt load of home runs with them, due to their tiny ball park though.

Don't know, don't care. I won't give my opinions until A-Rod signs the contract himself.
