I think that he's way over rated. He's not the best rapper alive get over it (And I'm saying this to the Weezy fans not you). I'm not gonna lie, every once in a while he puts out something real good. But other than that most of his songs sound exactly alike. He's very repetitive. He says "like" 500 times in each of his songs. He needs to give the "likes" a rest. Also I don't like the fact that he's had ghost writers for his albums. A real rapper can write their own lyrics. And I know that everyone is going to say this but he's gay. Straight men do not kiss other men on the mouth. Straight men do not call other men, who are not their real father's, Daddy. In fact the majority of men who do call other men daddy are prostitutes. What does that say about Weezy? So I'm not hatin' on him. I just don't think he's the best. And I don't think, 50 years from now, you'll be able to put Weezy up there as one of the greatest rappers of all time. Best rapper alive? Not even close.

I like a few of his songs also. He has some nice lines and he's made some bad songs decent. My problem with him is that he doesn't say anything. He says things because they sound good, there's no meaning behind anything. Aside from his verse in Hollywood Divorce (Idlewild soundtrack) and his track on the Carter 2, "Feel Me", He says nothing in his rhymes.
I sometimes enjoy listening to him, but I hate when people call him "The best rapper alive" and crap like that, he's no where near. At least not right now.

Lil Wayne is good, he isnt great, and he damn sure aint the best rapper alive. He is just so overated it makes people not like him. I liked him before he got so damn cocky that he spits shits that dont make no sense.

People need to get over the fact that he is not the best, and then the other people need to get over the fact that just because he is being called the best by people who don't know any better doesn't mean he is trash. The truth is, he has some nice lines, and I would never consider him for best rapper alive/ever, but I can recognize his talent.

I heard when he got caught for racketeering, Weezy the "Gangsta" snitched on him
Wayne is a good rapper rather you accept it or not..
Well at least his mixtapes, Carter I and II were garbage, but Lil Weezyana, Dedication I and II and Drought III were all fire.. He can really spit on mixtapes.

hes ok...he need to write his stuff down and half the time hes high....soo yeah thats what u get....but he have some nice tracks u can tell the ones eh write and the others he freestyled on...i think hes nice can be better..cuz he rep. my home town to the fullest lol...i can tell u some good songs out....thats hes on...that wyclef song...he goes hard on it...and pop bottles...nice
