Yes, I always hold grudges. I'm currently on a 10 year grudge. Some classmates in high school decided to mess with me one day in class and I've never forgiven them for it. And I don't intend to either.

Lol i always feel really guilty when i hold a grudge for more than a minute and then i do something ridiculously unmanly that gets rid of all those feelings so yeah ive held grudges but none longer than 2 minutes lol.

While I do get angry with people---often---and yell, scream (or type in certain cases), throw things, and slam doors........that's what gets the anger out of me......therefore, no grudge....well, not in most cases.

Yes, there is one person I do hold a grudge against--for some 20 years--but that person did physical and emotional harm to myself and other members of my family. I don't often think about this person, as fortunately I am 2500 miles away from that scene.

Don't hold grudges, it's not good for you--let it out--and forgive--even if you can't forget. :)

Holding a grudge, in my humble opinion, only hurts yourself. You are the one holding onto the grief, hurt, resentment and anger etc etc. So you will be the one that suffers for it in the end. There is a relationship - or indeed a correlation between holding on to bad emotions and illness. Forgiveness (you don't have to forget to forgive) lets you release the negitive and get on with living.

In saying that, it is the harder road to travel at times depending on the situation.

I am experiencing a rift in my family at the moment. My Mother refuses to speak with her father and vice versa. This is easier than actually dealing with the issues at hand and LETTING GO......lol.

I held a grudge for 11 years. The grudge had to do with my verbally, mentally and physically abusive Mother.
We began speaking again 3yrs. ago, and I'm entertaining the idea of never speaking to her once again since I recently found out that she hasn't changed one freakin bit!

First: The lifeless (righteous and depraved) are lifeless and asleep interior the grave. on the 1st resurrection (while Jesus returns), the righteous lifeless are resurrected, the righteous residing are translated and that they are taken to heaven. The unrighteous residing are slain. Earth is desolate. it is the pit that devil would be chained to for one thousand years. After the Millennium, each and all the unrighteous lifeless are resurrected. They (alongside with devil and the fallen angels) are then completely annihilated by way of hearth in a quick time. The Earth is renewed and the righteous inherit the earth. there is not any BURNING HELL throughout ETERNITY the place God punishes the depraved. That became an invention of the Church to coerce human beings into confirming with its dictates for the Church's political and financial income. 2nd: God loves all people yet some do no longer choose to have something to do with Him. If God have been to permit them in heaven, TO THEM, heaven may well be a residing HELL! And for eternity, at that. i might choose to be annihialated than to be residing an entire life of hell in heaven for eternity. 0.33: This destruction is thoroughly against the character of God, for the reason that God is love. See Isa 28:21 " For Jehovah will upward push up as in mount Perazim, he would be wroth as interior the valley of Gibeon; that he might do his artwork, his unusual artwork, and placed across to bypass his act, his unusual act." understand why this is unusual? mutually as God does no longer choose that absolutely everyone be lost, it rather is the main loving ingredient to do - annihilation. finally: God's plan is that when sin has run its course, it will be completely eradicated from the universe. allowing sinners into heaven will purely defeat that objective.

I try not to. I've seen the side effects. My dad held a grudge against his brothers for more than 40 years. He didn't even go to their funerals.
