What is the goal of the U.S. government and it's people? Why won't the President concisely answer questions about his policies? Why are we truly in Iraq? <-- Ive heard too many answers on this one and not one was backed up by the facts to prove it.) Why are we still in Iraq? Why are we sacrificing our freedoms for protections? Why is the check and balance system out of order? Why are we having taxes funneled to spend on war? Why are the people having their rights infringed upon? Was 9/11 a false flag operation or was it done by actual terrorists that don't like or have a beef with this country? Why is it that the news isn't sharing whats going on half the time. Why is it bad to question the motives of our government and why do they tell us we are "Bad Americans" when we do so? What is going on? I wan't answers! Give me plausible sources and give me plausible answers. Cite your sources. You will have bad feed back otherwise.

Our goal is to simply provide a reasonable amount of safety and security for the American people.

If we continued to sit on the side lines and not confront this ideology of hatred and domination that culminated in the events of 9/11 - we would be simply be subjected to more attacks. This has historical precidence as evidenced by our previous policies of inaction and no effective response to the terrorists' attacks against Americans all over the globe. When carried out with impunity - they simply resulted in more terror attacks.
Iraq has become the front on our war on terror. Perhaps its not the correct battle field - and we have certainly made our share of errors and miscalculations - but, none the less, I am proud that America and her true allies have confronted this ideology. Perhaps now, if nothing else, the Islamic militants realize that they cannot continue to slaughter innocent men, women and children in the quest for world dominance without serious consequences.
As a side note, you are perfectly free to question the motives of our government and I personally will never tell you that this is the sign of a "bad American."
I have noticed none of my rights being infringed upon - and I trust my own personal experiences and observations far more than what I see or read in the mass media.
9/11 was not a false flag operation - it was the inevitable consequenses of our inaction and lack of an effective response to the previous terrorists' attacks.

I will tell you this:
90% of Americans have no "goal."
They fall for what the media tells them, and are essentially sheep. These are the ones who think that Britney not wearing panties is big news. The rest of them either mean well or they're merely trying to rip people off. That's their goal.

As for the US government, it became increasingly corrupt when the republicans had control of both congress and the executive branch. That's why the balance shifted in congress this last election. You would have thought the Republicans would have learned from the mistakes of the Democrats during the Savings & Loan scandal days, but once enough Americans care enough about the country turning into a river of $h!t, the balance of power changes. Bush is essentially the problem all the way around. He's big into loyalty and that's why the republicans won't budge on anything he initiates. He is stubborn and somehow got it into his head that President = King. His way or the highway. 29% of Americans think that being stubborn and narrowminded is being an effective leader 'cause he's "holding his ground." He's just trying to save face. He's worried about his legacy.

These are questions 70% of the public has been asking to no avail. All you'll get here is a bunch of static from the right wing. They're not too good with straight answers.

If you don't know by now why we're in Iraq no one can explain it to you.

Go back to watching CNN and IM'ng with you conspiracy theory buddies.

So far the only ones who consistently harp on us for being "bad Americans" are the liberal Democrats.
