You mean like Barney Frank and Gerry Studds - oh wait. They're Democrats.
The late Studds was even censured for sodomizing an under age House page.
Studds stayed in for a couple of terms. Frank is still there. At least the Republicans feel shame and resign.

Probably not much of a difference bewteen how many gay people are in either party.
The Republicans have bought the "family values" brand and are running with it, so they have to force themselves deep into the closet.
Democrats don't seem so encumbered by such silliness

because with the ridiculous antics of the pelosi/reid regime, cut and run, tax and spend, and incidents like the non taxpaying territorial congressional vote grant and 757gate, its obvious now more than ever the need to vote conservative. gays, straights, everyone has a conscience and ethics and when a political party like the liberal extremists violate them, people react that way...sexual orientation has little to do with it.
