You need to make that decision for yourself. Follow your heart & never doubt your instincts. What is your heart & instinct telling you right now? Go with that.

Good luck

I haven't figured out whether or not this is a triangle or a foursome. Maybe your best friend is also your boyfriend's friend and therefore, we are talking about two guys, not three.

Aren't you lucky? All of these admirers and all you have to do is snap your fingers and either of them will come running. That sounds like a dream situation to me. But there are a few problems.

If you choose the friend, you will be breaking up a friendship. And if this guy is really a friend of your boyfriend (stay with me here,) he is really not a very good friend. I have a feeling he is just trying to prove a point.

If, as you say, you don't want to break up with your boyfriend, then you had better stop eying your best friend or his friend or whoever this friend is and pay attention to him. Or, since you are young and life is meant to be enjoyed, pick the guy you like and have fun. Or date them both. What the heck?

If you're having doubts about your boyfriend maybe you shouldn't be with him. A warning about going for it with your best friend: if it doesn't work out you could lose him forever. Sometimes you can never go back to how you were. Is it worth the chance of losing your very best friend? Think seriously about it. I lost my best friend that I had been friends with for 6 years and it wasn't worth it (I could never be friends with him again after what he did). Good luck.

wait a sec, you have three people liking you???
your bf, best friend, and his friend...

you like your best friend and your boyfriend...
in marriage it's called an affair/
in this case which one is the friend with "benefits" that you are playing around here??

not being rude or mean, but seriously...
wtf!!??? you're going to get hurt or get someone else hurt...
don't play this double shift game here...

i think you know who you want to be with more...
if you doing it because you want to know what it would be like with the other and don't want to lose this one just in case scenario? don't.. pick one and stay with it... if you choose the wrong guy, that''s the risk you have to take..

You say you don't want to break up with your boyfriend, and that says a lot. It is possible that the only reason you are attracted to his friend is because you can't have him. If you were to break up with your boyfriend, you risk ruining your relationship with him, your relationship with your friend, and HIS relationship with his friend. Knowing this.... you have to really search your heart to find out who you want to be with. If you do decide to break up with your boyfriend, do it face to face, and be honest with him. It sounds to me, tho, that you want to stay with your boyfriend. good luck.

Think about who you like more. Dating your best friend could be very akward but it could turn into a lasting relationship. You never know.

You are young you have the right to date people, just be upfront and tell both of them how you feel. They might make you choose or they might leave you alone period and if this happens then you know neither one of them is the one for you.

It sounds like you're not ready for a relationship. Stay single so you can date other people.
