I no longer have them.

Fear is but a particular type of thinking. We don't fear the past, it has already happened. We don't fear the moment, as the worst thing that could happen isn't happening. Fear is a belief about the future.

Here and now philosophies emerged to combat this type of thinking.

My biggest fear is growing old realizing that I wasn't able to do anything big with my life and then finding out that there is nothing on the other side; that this life is really all that we have - no heaven, no hell, no reincarnation. Just nothingness.

That is terrible because it means that every moment we wasted doing the things that we didn't really want to do just to please others and not being able to do everything that we want in line with that effect was a total waste. And ultimately, it boils down to the reality that we wasted life.

Not only is that scary, it is also tragic.

Death and medical bills. I'm afraid to die afraid of how when why etc. and medical bills scare me b/c I could go bankrupt and lose everything if I get really sick; especially if I'm retired and that happens and what if my insurance carrier drops me or won't cover the help that I need? That's a huge fear!

one is wasting my life away on useless factors.
Feeling obligated or pressured to do certain actions that are seen as socially expected, my wants/needs/dreams are instead held back and deserted, in order to maintain composure.
