MY PERIOD IS MORE THAN 12 DAYS LATE AND I HAVE NOT BEEN UNDER ANY STRESS.

I HAVE BEEN HAVING PAINS IN MY STOMACH(NOT AS SEVERE AS CRAMPS) AND ALSO I HAVE HAD A LOT OF GAS FOR SOME REASON.

I FEEL KINDA BLOATED AND MY BOOBS ARE A LITTLE SORE--- BUT THAT COULD BE IN MY HEAD .

ONE THING FOR SURE I FEEL NAUSEOUS, BUT I DON'T FEEL LIKE IT IS COMING UP.

COULD I BE PREGNANT?

Delay/Difference in Menstruation:
A delayed or missed menstruation is the most common pregnancy symptom leading a woman to test for pregnancy. When you become pregnant, your next period should be missed. Many women can bleed while they are pregnant, but typically the bleeding will be shorter or lighter than a normal period.

Other Explanations: Excessive weight gain/loss, fatigue, hormonal problems, tension, stress, ceasing to take the birth control pill, or breast-feeding.

I would like to think it being 12 days past when your period was due it should have done showed up on a pregnancy test. Maybe you should go and see a doctor to see what the problem is and ask for a blood test. Good luck!

Just know that you aren't alone! I'll be 14 days late tomorrow and I'm going thru exactly what you are.

I wish I knew what caused this because I wasn't under any stress either and I've never been late before. Preg test is saying negative as well and I have the same symptoms minus the sore boobs.

I tried to schedule an appt with my gyno but it's a months wait so if you find out before that let me know~ We sound exactly the same. This doesn't answer your question, but perhaps knowing that you aren't alone might help if even just a little :-)

My mother too suggested I keep testing... personally I feel it would have shown up by now but she insists :-)

Don't you wish we all just pee purple when we are pregnant so it isn't so confusing and no more waiting to find out?!? :-)

It may be that your period is running very late and you are about to get it or there is a chance that you may be pregnant. You need to wait a little longer before your test reading will be accurate. 15-20 days will give you a more accurate result. Always remember ( I don't care what people say) You can have a false negative, BUT YOU CAN NEVER HAVE A FALSE POSITIVE. Simple as that. You are showing signs of being pregnant. Whatever you choose to do, I wish you the best of luck.

Anything is possible. Take a blood test. It might just be late. I also thought I was pregnant because of severe fatigue, nausea, missed period..etc. And it was just 2 weeks late. Take a blood test. I was also under no stress and that happened to me.

Yes, you could. But, wait for a positive result. Keep testing.

Sounds like you're skipping your period, and the resulting hormone fluctuations are giving you all the classic PMS/pregnancy symptoms out there.

If you're convinced you're pregnant, go have blood work done.
