Go to a nutritionist and have her work with you on a no cholesterol diet. That worked really great for me. Good luck...

1. Remove the 20+ million illegals in the US. 30 million out or 300 million without insurance. After the 20+ million are removed, readjust. Take away the 10-15 million who don't want to pay for health insurance because they feel they don't need it. (18-26 year olds). What you will have left is probably less than 7 million who are in need of health insurance. You want spend trillions (and it will be in the trillions) to completely revamp the entire medical system for almost 300 million people to meet the needs of perhaps 3% of the population? How stupid it that?

I've heard that cutting animal products out of your diet can help to lower your Cholesteral. If you want to try a vegan diet no meat and or dairy products its worth a shot. :)

Fish oil, flax seed oil. My mother also has the same problems as you, her physician recommended fish oil. At her last cholesterol screening her levels were down, but very minimally.
