The first sign of wisdom is when your newly acquired insights can be applied to your own life. Live by example. if you have a philosophy of life emerging that addresses the issue of happiness then, your wisdom will shine as you begin to live it.

Being able to answer lifes questions from the personal experience you've gained from having gone through whatever the person who's asking the question is going through. A case of "been there, done that".

If you trust Socrates, it's knowing that you know nothing. In short, that the percentage of knowledge accumulated by even the smartest man is still just peanuts next to all the information one can acquire in the world. It also helps to keep one's ego in check if you live your life that way
