Is there any way to use a 360 controller to play games on a MAME emulator, and if so, how?

360 controllers are USB right? And 360 is microsoft right? I have not had the chance to try it but have been told yes it works. The computer will see it plugged into the usb and plug n play software install will start. when you start mame you can start a game and press the TAB button to open the options box. Now click the games control setup and MAP the controller.

Any controller that is compatible with Windows can be used with MAME. Google "easyemu" for a handy guide.
