I think the only thing considered too much sleep is death.

Possibly, yes. You're usually supposed to sleep 7-8 hours. Sometimes, for reason I do NOT know, our bodies want to sleep longer than 8 hours. I've been known to sleep 12 hours sometimes. And sometimes, too much sleep causes you to be sleepy the rest of the day. I don't know why.

12 hours of sleep is to long of a sleep. On average a person needs 8 hours of sleep. Any less will make you moody, too much sleep will make you tired.

You can't feel tired, after over-sleeping, but I don't think it's very good for your health anyway. You'll start to always want to sleep and be lazy. But it also depends on your daily routine of sleep, and what you're used to.

Too much sleep will make you more tired. When i sleep too much my lower back will hurt all day and then it's hard to get to sleep when it's time for bed.

You can be lethargic and aching after too much sleep. Most people refer to it as "groggy". Unless you're sick, 9 hours is usually enough.

No, you just woke up at the wrong time. You sleep in R.E.M cycles and depending on when you wake up during that cycle could determine whether you are rested or groggy.

Hmm. Maybe. But that happens to me occasionally and I sleep early and wake up early most of the time.
