My husband's late grandpa's name was Arthur. We want that as a boy's middle name, but need some suggestions for first names.

My late grandfather's name was Arthur too. I love that name - it reminds me of medieval times, knights in shining armor, etc. If this is your first son, name him after your husband's first name and Arthur. That's how we named our first son, my husband's first name and my dad's middle name (because that is what he has gone by his entire life, plus I really don't like my dad's first name). So then he won't have to be a Jr. or II, he can be his own little self. Otherwise, if that is not an option, how about one of these:

Glenarlen Arthur (this is actually my grandfather's name in reverse)
Glynn Arthur
Galen Arthur
Galahad Arthur
Gawain Arthur
Gavin Arthur
Greer Arthur (I like this the other way around better)
Griffin Arthur (I like this the other way around better)

Arthur does sound nice with a "G" name. (I also Like Arturo)

Pillan Arthur

First names with an "R" sound in the middle will flow well with the starting "Ar" sound in Arthur.
Something like:
Brady Arthur
Brandon Arthur
Carlin Arthur
Cedric Arthur
Charles Arthur
Charlton Arthur
Conrad Arthur
Darcy Arthur
Edward Arthur
Francis Arthur
Fredrick Arthur
Harley/ Harlan Arthur
Harrison/ Harry Arthur
Harvey Arthur
Henry Arthur
Kirk Arthur
Leroy Arthur
Mark Arthur
Marshall Arthur
Patrick Arthur
Pierce Arthur
Tristan Arthur
Willard Arthur
Zachary Arthur

Hope that helps! :)

Cameron Arthur(I'm not even going to suggest any name that start with "A"....)
Carson Arthur
Ian Arthur
John Arthur
Michael Arthur
Timothy Arthur
There,I don't think that any of those initials have negative connotations.

I suggest going through the alphabet from a-z and find what names you like and see how they run together. eg: Benjamin/Ben, Bradley/Brad, Christian/Chris, Damien, Francis/Frank, Gregory/Greg, Geoffry/Geoff, James, Jesse,Joshua/Josh, Johnathon/John, Kyle, Kim, Leon, Lloyd, Matthew/Matt, Mark, Michael/Mike/Mick, Nicholas/Nick, Nathan, Neil, Philip/Phil, Peter, Paul, Quinten/Quin, Robert/Rob/Bob/Robbie, Steven/Stephen/Steve, Sean/Shawn/Shaun, Simeon/Simon, Stuart/Stu, Timothy/Tim, Tristan, Thomas/Tomas/Tom, Taylor, Victor, Vincent, Wayne, Wade. Good luck!
