The whole world does need to be saved from intolerance, prejudice, border wars, religous wars, poverty, ignorance, injustice, murderous rampages, child armies, child pornography, and all levels of abuse humans heap upon those that are weaker.
Just to mention the ones that came to mind........
It IS up to me. And you. And each of us reading and typing,and our neighbors.........If each of us could be a bit more open minded, open our eyes to what is going on nearest to us and speak up against the wrongs, be prepared to befriend a neighbor and learn about why they are who they are it would be a start! In that way we can find a common thread to our humanity, band together to rid our neigborhood of the illegal, and maybe be united to take our opinions to the next level of government. It could work!!!!!

Well I'd do what I can I guess, but just me to save the whole world is a pretty big task in the saving department. I haven't even saved enough to buy the crown one of my teeth needs yet.
I'd probably panic for a while and search everywhere for assistance... by the time I finish that it may be too late. I guess if the whole world was going to be vaporized by the Vogons I'd rather be on it with my family than not. So much for my saving the world.

Huge job that! Can anyone really save the whole world? We all have to do it together, but looks like we're not doing a good job of it, are we? Too much hate and egotistical desires, not gonna work like this.
