It goes back to Ancient Greece and probably even further.
In ancient Greece, it was common for an older male to be sexually active with a younger boy. There are LOTS of Greek vases that show pedophilic art involving younger boys and older ones.

Child pornography has probably been around since the cammera was first made. Or even more if you look at some of the paintings from the dark ages they can be pretty leud and some of them have children in them.

Sexual fascination with young children, male and female, had been around for 1000s of years. In the middle ages it was very common for a girl to be married before her teens, and be a mother by 11 or 12, if possible. Only recently has this become a perverted concept.
