What might conditions on Earth be like without the greenhouse effect?

But for the greenhouse effect, earth's average surface temperature would have been -18(minus 18) degree celcius which will be about 33 degrees lower than the present average temperature.Now you can imagine the consequences.

Most scientists would agree that the earth would be known as the dead ice ball that is the third planet from the sun by any aliens that came along.
