Does anybody believe in spirits? Does anyone think that when somebody passes away they stay on earth and is watching you at all times.

A Ghost is a Spirit which is a Soul the Etheric body that we use to Astral Travel so when we pass over that is what leaves the body. It is understood as a sort of life force body or aura that constitutes the "blueprint" of the physical body, and which sustains the physical body.
Some people don't pass over because of unfinished business
Or they just don't know they have died
Or they didn't know to go to the light
This is what people call a Ghost
I call Spirit some call Lost Souls
You also have a Spirit Guide which has been with you from the time you was born till the day you pass over : )
Do you also know that people that Astral Travel are seen as ghost, so maybe people are seeing ghost maybe are just living people just exploring via Astral travelling : )

I live alone, except for my cat, in a 2 bedroom ranch style home. Back in the 50's there was an old farmhouse which stood partially where my house now is. I don't know if that has anything to do with it, but I have a friendly spirit who visits me now and then. I've never seen it but sometimes when I get home from work or wake up in the morning, the door to the spare bedroom, which I always keep closed, will be opened. Or the curtains on front porch, which I keep open to let the morning sunshine into my living room, will be closed.
In August I put up new curtains on that porch and the living room picture window, and when I got home from work next day, the living room curtains were drawn shut and the curtain rod on one of porch windows was hanging down from it's holder. And one more thing, three times my cat has stared into a corner or my dining room and hisses and growls or walks through the house meowing while looking up at the ceiling.
I've lived here about 7 years and these little 'spirit pranks' have happened about 4 or 5 times. Nobody else has a key to my house, so I guess I have a friendly little spirit that visits now and then.

I believe in the possibility of spirits. I think spirits don't always stay on Earth (or in our dimension) but may choose to come back and visit. While I can be arrogant it hasn't reached the point that I think spirits (related to me or not) have nothing more interesting to do than watch me 24/7.

A spirit of the deceased will stay with you for a time but they do not stay here all the time. The time will come when they must move on. They have another world or dimension to persue, they dont look back.

Im not to sure about when you die but i had an experiance when i was about 9 that i will never forget i remember sharing a bed with my sister and i clearly remember waking up and looking by the back door that was in our bedroom i saw what i thought was my sister it looked just like her so i called out to her to get back in bed the spirit acted like it heard me because it started walking back to the bed thats when i looked over and saw my sister still laying there this thing floated up positioned itself on my sister and disappeared i never forgot that day they when i was about 14 i had a dream every night for 2 months that i was falling it was dark i could not see anything i could hear my self calling for my mom but they never heard me and just b4 i hit the bottom i would wake up well after 2 months i went to a shrink and he told me and it might be bull crap i dont know he said when u dream its your soul thats leaves ur body and in my case it knew i was about to be waken up so when i thought i was falling it apparently was my soul raceing back to my body that was the day i realized i had seen my sisters spirit sounds dumb i know but i believe it happens

Yes, I do believe. I am not sure what their intentions are, but I know our minds are protected from seeing everything unearthly around us or we would go mad.
