Okay, I know that Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox are 2 cross town rivals teams, so this question is more for Chicago White Sox fans only. And of course Chicago Cubs fans will cheering for the Chicago Cubs. But Chicago White Sox fans, if there are any left, will you be cheering for the Chicago Cubs, even when they are making thier quest for the playoffs. And of course, we know that the Chicago White Sox won the World Series in 2005, but will you be cheering for the Chicago Cubs, why or why not? You have to tell me, do you plan to cheer for the Chicago Cubs, and why or why not will you do?

I am a Chicago White Sox fan, plain and simple. I will not be cheering for the Chicago Cubs, because I am not a fan. Not to mention all the grief I received from Cubs fans when the White Sox were running away with everything in 2005 - I plan to take the higher ground and keep my mouth shut.

Yes, I'm Cubs fan while I grow up in Chicago for two years where I cheered for Cubs more than White Sox. Before moved to metro Washington DC.

My old friends want to see Cubs win the World Series someday as can afford to end its World Series drought since won last in 1908. Most of them never cheered for White Sox again since won World Series in 2005. I guess Cubs has its turn to make to World Series with high payroll in offseason.

White Sox fans cheer for the Cubs? HA! Never happen. How could you expect them too? The White Sox only exist in this town to give the Chicago baseball fans who hate the Cubs an alternative. Cub fans just cheer for the Cubs win, Sox fans just cheer for the Cubs to lose. Both sides cheer for the Sox equally. :)

Being a native South Sider, I've always been a Sox fan....never really cheered for the Cubs and not sure if I will this year.

Next to the White Sox, I've always liked the Brewers...imagine my surprise a few years back when they switched to the American League...they have a great ballpark and diehards up there so I will be cheering for the Brewers to win!

Go Blue Crew!

Yes, I have been a Chicago Cubs fan for about 20 some years.
This year, they are putting it together. Their best pitcher, Carlos Zambrano is getting better every day. Today, in the first inning, he struck out three batters in 1 minute and 28 seconds.
He also hit a long fly double that hit the ivy out in center field. It was very close to being a home run.
Carlos is really wound up, and next month, you can watch him in the World Series. Gooooooooo Cubbies.!!!!!

No, I will not be cheering for the Cubs IF they make it. I feel somewhat bad for not doing so, but I cannot stand the team! Also I will not be cheering for them because I don't like many of their fans. They claim to be "die-hard" fans. They booed Zambrano when he had a somewhat bad start(they ended up winning that game anyway). They threw trash on the field when the Sox beat them with a walkoff HR(I believe this was last year). Lots of their fans are not classy. Also, I am a big White Sox fan, so I feel if I were to cheer for them, it would be turning my back on the White Sox. I am not a fair weather fan, and will support the White Sox through and through.

i'm no longer a "wonderful loser". I even have satisfaction and choose to win. No ask your self the cubs are the only team on the city to no longer get a sparkling positive stadium. and that they are the only team that does no longer play close to the Loop, they play way out interior the midsection of nowhere in a tiny sell off of a ballpark
