Any idiot (which means the average American is not worthy enough to be an idiot) can figure out the US is lying continuously about Iran. THe US uses words like "is most likely", "is believed to be",etc. which is specifically written for the idiot ( aka the US puiblic). THe problem is that most Americans can barely comprehend what they read and hardly read anyway. In addition Americans are not allowed access to unbiased news...in that "free" country of theirs bringing "freedom" to Iraq via death.

are YOU stupid enough to believe the Iranian lies about the US?

I base my beliefs and the extent to which I 'believe' what I hear emanating from the media upon what I directly hear from the mouth of the Iranian president, their previous leaders, their current religious 'scholars' and also, their actions of the past.

I have not seen the clips on Ahmadinejad's comments today but, ppl on this board have posted that he spoke of our two countries existing amid 'peace, mutual respect and love.'

If true, it is the first time since the fall if the Shah that an Iranian leader has spoken in such a fashion and his words can CLEARLY be attributed to the fact that the American military is for the first time in history camped out on their border, ready and willing to respond to their previous threats as well as any new threats.

There is simply no other explanation for the change of heart Ahmadinejad has undergone during the last year.

And, yes, only Bush and his policies can be given credit for this. It says all that is needed to be said about the importance of our staying in Iraq and the need to continue rotating a sufficient number of troops through the area indefinitely.

While I am a US citizen I don't consider myself average or an idiot, but thinking that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is innocent leader only seeking peace in the whole is foolish at best. Bad foreign policy led by the worst US President in modern history is evident, but "The enemy of your enemy isn't necessarily your friend."

And by the way, you are painting a broad stroke there with your assesment of "most Americans". Perhaps you too have been watching just a little too much Fox News.

Open your mind and use the tools available to determine the truth if you care. This thing they got called the internet is really good at helping you do that. Talk to the people of Iran as others do and see what they say. You won't find lies in all their hearts. You might even find a freind.

The propaganda rolls on
The sad thing is they have potential but they would rather watch wrestling and eat KFC brought home in there oversized gas guzzling monstrosities than listen to their own scientists

You can't put a brain in a jellybean

see what happens when you dent their pride
what a bunch of egocentric sooks they are
if anyone questions your actions they must be wrong
this is the problem with them
they do not accept an alternative viewpoint and that is why there is so much anti US sentiment

There are many, many Iranian Americans in this country. I have personally heard some horrific stories about the evil going-ons due to their radical leadership for decades.
Believe me that more people are educated than you give us credit for in the US.
And no, Columbia U. does not even come close to cornering the market on intelligence and reason.

If you would spend your time looking into the ways to market fertilizer, you could become a millionaire selling all that manure that comes out of your mouth, however no one with an ounce of brain will buy into your ignorance.

You mean the one`s like Iran having a convention and saying the Holocaust never happened ? More than likely the only reason your dumb butt is on here is because somewhere an American soldier fought and died for your right to show your ignorance in public !

Sounds like you too are making assumptions. How do you know they're all lies?

I think we should maintain a questioning, investigative mindset about foreign countries until we travel and find things out for ourselves. I won't assume Iran is harmless. But I won't assume what the media says is true either.

However, I will admit that the feeling I get from some of the so-called news stations is that it's pretty chock-full of bullsh*t. For example, the following Fox News video...
