Electric blanket, down comforter, or......other?

Well, we have really been thinking about that since the cost of heating is going up right along with milk and gas.
We have come to the conclusion that we will put extra blankets on our beds and wear flannels in order to turn the heat down at night. We will only turn up the heat during the morning hours when we are getting ready for work and school and then turn it off during the days. If it is freezing outside, then only to 60degrees. At night, we will heat only the common areas and close off the rest of the house. That is how we are going to counter the winter in our home.

I use a down comforter!
I love to cuddle under it and leave the windows open during the winter!
I love the sound of the rain pattering and the feel of the Ice breeze on my face!
I can't stand hot, dry air!

Fleece pajamas, warm socks, flannel sheets, fleece blanket, and a down comforter. And before bed, hot chocolate!

I like to get under the cover and watching movies eating popcorn and drinking hot coco. I like to sit by the fire which is by the Christmas tree at Christmas time. I wear warm soft pants and decorative socks.

A warm blanket that my mom made me and my husband. It is thick and heavy and so so warm!!! My husband comes in pretty handy too ♥

I have 2 Jack Russell dogs that I sleep with so I don't get cold.
