A "QUARK"...
The smallest of all the known sub-atomic particles known at this time is the QUARK, of which there are 6 types. These are called UP, DOWN, TOP, BOTTOM, CHARM and STRANGE
It is possible that Quarks may be made up of something smaller but this is only a theory and there is currently no proof that this is the case.
