A cheetah can run at a maximum speed 110 km/h and a gazelle can run at a maximum speed of 80 km/h. If both animals are running at full speed, with the gazelle 91.6 m ahead, how long before the cheetah catches its prey? Answer in units of s.

The x(t)=x0+v*t will solve this
convert km/hr to m/s by dividing by 3.6
for the cheetah
x(t)=0+110*t/3.6
for the gazelle
x(t)=91.6+80*t/3.6

When they are at the same x(t), there is a catch
91.6+80*t/3.6=110*t/3.6
or
t=91.6*3.6/(110-80)
