From my opinion... It is appropriate. Especially if you have seperate tents. As long as you give them no reason to suspect any "funny business" you should be fine. Make sure to respect all of their rules. And most of all .. If you want to talk privately... make sure they can see you, but not hear you. Then they won't be on your case about you 2 being alone. I have undergone some pretty strict parents before so I made sure to respect them and go by their rules. I couldn't even go into her room.. So yes I think it is appropriate.

If his family are going to be there - and you are sure that you have different tents, then I can't see this being a problem. As long as your own family trusts your boyfriend, and his family, then all will be fine.
Young people try to grow up too quickly these days and you sound like a sensible person! Enjoy your teenage years as you will never get them back.
Have fun camping :-)

Not at all not at all. His family has invited you along on their camping trip. It should be fun. And you will get a chance to see the "real" bf. He won't be shaved and showered when he comes out of the tent in the morning. But you won't be showered and have your hair all combed either. Camping is a lot of fun. Go for it.

Sounds quite appropriate to me. You get to spend time together, and his family are still present....so it's not like you guys are shacking up in the middle of no where by yourself or anything.....Unless your parents don't know (or don't like) his parents very well, then I would understand the concern.

Because your parents don't want you going overnight with a guy. Simple and as complicated as they love you and don't want you to do something everyone will regret.
Even with separate tents, things happen.

You have a ton of chaperones and your not going to sharing a tent. It all sounds innocent enough to me.
